About Louis Ruggiero

Louis J. Ruggiero offers results-driven dedication and over 25 years of experience to the real estate industry. His insight and expertise as a native New Yorker provide him with a thorough knowledge of what it means to live and work in this great city. Louis graduated from Catholic University in 1981 and from Hofstra University School of Law in 1985. Since his admission to the New York State bar in 1986, Louis has been involved in New York state real estate practice as an associate in a large firm, as a solo practitioner, and as a member of Cohen, Frankel & Ruggiero, LLP, a Manhattan-based law firm with a satellite office in Queens County.

 

Louis specializes in real estate law, including both transactional matters and litigation in all five boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties. He is now embarking on a new journey, combining his knowledge and love for real estate, and parlaying it into becoming a real estate agent.

 

His experience working with first-time and experienced purchasers, sellers, attorneys, and lenders will make him uniquely equipped to guide his clients to a smooth closing table. His current real estate practice includes representation of cooperative and condominium boards in all aspects, including transfer of shares, pursuing collection of arrears, litigation, and negotiation of vendor contracts.

 

Louis’s strong work ethic, high level of dedication, and commitment to protecting his clientele’s best interests truly set him apart from the rest. When he’s not at the office, you can find him cheering on the sidelines of his favorite local sports teams or dining at Fresco by Scotto with his wonderfully supportive family.
